NAME: Jim Kern
ONLINE NICK: Revility
AGE: 26
WHAT
I DO: Part time Concept Artist, comic illustrator,
cartoonist, character designer, game/mod developer, & writer. Full time assistant manager.
ART STYLES: Most of my work is done in
pencils and inks. I use Adobe Photoshop for
varies types of artwork, as well as web design.
I work best with a great deal of creative freedom
and interaction between myself and whom ever
I am working with at the time. |

is my online portfolio, personal site and Screen Name. If you like
what you see, let me know. If you want to hire me, let
me know. The word Revility means to reveal reality. I use it as my online screen name in many places and communities. I also use Aramis SyX as my screen name in the Neverwinter Nights community. |

WHEN
| The
site first began development back in the summer of 2001.
In January 2002 the site was then opened to the
public. In 2005 The site was taken down. In late 2005 I re-opened
the gallery as a subdomian. In 2006 the site was once again moved as a subdomain for atomicarmadillo.com. By this time, the website had 102 pieces of art. In 2008 the site received a complete overhaul and a large amount of new content. Work considered too old or not up to par was removed as well. |

WHERE & HOW
I
live in North East Pennsylvania, USA. I do my computer related work on
a Self built Athlon XP 3800+ Venice core PC with a Nvidia
GeForce 7900 gt 256ddr PCI-E graphics card, 2 gigs of pc 3200
DDR memory, Windows XP, and a 20" monitor at 1280
x 960 resolution.
I use Adobe Photo Shop CS2, and Flash
8 mostly. I draw with either a mouse or a pen tablet.
I use a Wacom 6x8 intuos 2.
As for my more traditional artwork, I work with
many different types of pencils, pens, brushes, boards,
papers, usually on bristle board, a large collection of
templates, rulers, triangles and T-squares and what ever
I can get my hands on. |
